Nonfiction Book Coaching

Option 1:  Mastermind the Monograph

I guide nonfiction writers through the process of organizing and writing meaningful nonfiction books. As a coach, I offer a close read of the full manuscript as well as written feedback on chapter organization, theoretical framework, and citations. This support helps authors refine and revise the manuscript to see the project anew. This service can be helpful for transforming a dissertation or seeing an unpublished monograph with fresh eyes. Through our one-on-one work together, you’ll get clear feedback and written instructions on how to advance the project to the next level. This service is for developing projects and the deliverable is a full revision plan for your book.

This support includes:

·      Reading 4-5 substance chapters, introduction, conclusion and bibliography

·      Written revision plan

·      A one-time 30-minute meeting to discuss the feedback

Option 2:  Market and Promote the Book

I guide nonfiction writers through the process of drafting and editing successful nonfiction book proposals. This service guides authors from draft contract. I share the behind-the-scenes details of the publishing pipeline, from conference introductions to press contracts, including how to craft a proposal that continues to support your writing after publication. I offer clarity about your book project, including marketing information and negotiation tips for securing the book contract, so that authors can navigate the process with confidence. This service is for receiving feedback and the deliverable is a book proposal with guidance tailored to your project.

This support includes:

·      Two 1-hr meetings

·      One-time line edit of a proposal draft (up to 25 pages) with feedback
